Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Automotive Infotainment Testing Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. If you are a fresher who has completed an internship in infotainment testing, or a junior engineer with up to a year of experience who loves the intersection of cars and software, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
You will play a crucial role in validating next-generation In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, media, and diagnostic performance.
Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on Automotive Infotainment (IVI) systems.
- Programming: Good knowledge of Python (ability to write, understand, and debug automation scripts).

Validate core infotainment features including Media, Tuner, Navigation, and Telematics.

Test wireless connectivity features such as Bluetooth (BT), Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Validate Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates and flashing procedures.

Perform diagnostic testing using UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocols.

Analyze system logs, track bugs, and isolate root causes using various debugging tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of Tuner, Multimedia, Bluetooth stacks, Navigation, Telematics, and UDS Diagnostics.
- Programming: Good knowledge of Python (ability to write, understand, and debug automation scripts).

Tools: Hands-on experience or familiarity with DLT Viewer, Putty, and Tera Term for log collection and analysis.

Protocols: Basic awareness of automotive protocols (CAN, UDS) is a major plus.

Eligibility:

0–1 years of professional experience.

Candidates who have completed a dedicated internship in Automotive Infotainment Testing are highly preferred.
