Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical Engineering) to join our engineering team in Bangalore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, product development, supplier collaboration, and engineering documentation within a world-class healthcare technology organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions, learn industry best practices, and build expertise in mechanical engineering concepts and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD tools.
• Create, review, and update engineering drawings and design documentation.
• Maintain mechanical component inventory and ensure availability of parts in accordance with Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct experiments, testing, and analysis to validate and improve product designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
• Document design iterations, test results, engineering changes, and technical findings.
• Prepare technical reports, design specifications, work instructions, and other engineering documentation.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Seek guidance and mentorship from senior engineers to accelerate learning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Continuously develop technical competencies and engineering knowledge relevant to the role.
• Support engineering projects while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM and 3D modeling tools.
• Willingness to learn and apply engineering principles in a practical environment.
