Team Overview: Core Infrastructure & Engineering

The Core Team builds the underlying technical foundation behind our company’s flagship products. We own and advocate for foundational design elements, developer platforms, core product components, and shared infrastructure.

As part of the Core Team, you will create central solutions that break down technical barriers, strengthen existing systems, and establish essential building blocks to ensure safe, coherent user experiences across all our products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Write high-quality, efficient, and testable product and system-level code across full-stack applications.

• Architecture & Design: Participate in or lead architectural design reviews with peers and cross-functional stakeholders to select optimal technologies and designs.

• Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews for team members, providing feedback to maintain high standards of code quality, style guidelines, testability, and operational efficiency.

• Technical Documentation: Contribute to system documentation, developer guides, and educational content, updating materials based on system iterations and engineer feedback.

• Debugging & Maintenance: Triage, investigate, and resolve system or product issues by analyzing root causes and their impacts on services, networks, and quality.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Engineering Experience:

  • 2 years of professional software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (OR 1 year of relevant experience with an advanced degree).

  • 2 years of hands-on Full Stack development experience across:

    • Back-End: Java, Python, Golang, C++, or equivalent.

    • Front-End: JavaScript or TypeScript, AngularJS/Angular, HTML, CSS, or modern equivalents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical domain.

• 2+ years of deep experience applying data structures and core algorithms to real-world software problems.

• Hands-on experience developing accessible technologies.

• Proven track record working with large-scale distributed systems and infrastructure.
