About the Role

As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary role will be to interface with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will understand requirements, create and review designs, validate architecture, and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.

You will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews, and execute unit test plan reviews. You will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high-quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management, and adherence to organizational guidelines and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Interface & Delivery: Act as a key technical point of contact for client discussions, ensuring seamless quality assurance, prompt issue resolution, and high customer satisfaction scores.

• Architecture & Design: Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications, validate data architectures, and participate in technical design reviews.

• Engineering Excellence: Write, review, and optimize high-quality Python and Big Data code deliverables adhering to SOLID design principles and best practices.

• Project & Risk Management: Contribute to project effort estimation, identify technical risks, formulate mitigation plans, and conduct thorough code and unit test reviews.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers in technical execution, foster knowledge-sharing sessions, and drive adherence to organizational quality guidelines.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

Core Technical Skills:

• Primary Skill: Expertise in Python for Data Science, data processing, and analytical modeling.

• Big Data Stack: Hands-on experience with Big Data packages and frameworks (e.g., PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Databricks, or cloud data platforms).

• Architecture & Design: Fundamental understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modeling methods.

• Quality & Testing: Practical knowledge of software testing tools, unit testing frameworks, and debugging techniques.

• Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum development life cycles and project delivery workflows.

Professional Capabilities:

• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and complex problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact directly with global stakeholders.

• Sound understanding of software quality assurance principles and estimation methodologies.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc / MCA / M.Sc / M.Tech).
