About the Role

Expleo Group is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to support the development of next-generation automotive vehicle platforms. Working within a Central Systems Integration environment, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, investigating, and driving the resolution of complex software and systems issues throughout vehicle development programs.

This position sits at the heart of software integration activities, collaborating with multiple engineering teams to identify root causes, assign ownership, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into software and systems-related issues.
• Assess and prioritize issues based on urgency and business impact.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret technical data to support root cause identification.
• Ensure high-quality issue management and triage processes.
• Support testing assets, environments, and system readiness activities.
• Assist in testing and validation of complex vehicle systems and software.
• Collaborate with engineering, program, and project teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Facilitate issue review meetings, ensuring clear ownership and action tracking.
• Maintain issue registers and tracking systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop and communicate KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and status reports.
• Identify process improvements and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of issue and defect management processes and tools.
• Proven experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Solid understanding of software integration principles and system dependencies.
• Experience creating, analyzing, and presenting KPIs and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to identify risks, gaps, and escalation requirements.
• Experience maintaining issue tracking systems and registers.
• Ability to facilitate technical review meetings and drive actions to completion.
• Experience working within structured project governance, PMO, or program delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within the automotive industry or complex engineering environments.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, ECU integration, and software delivery programs.
• Experience supporting system integration testing and validation activities.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and release management processes.
