Locations: Pune or Bangalore, India
Role Type: Internship
At our company, interns are an integral part of the team. You won’t be relegated to busywork or unimportant tasks—you will participate in day-to-day operations and serve as an active contributor to your team.
We are currently looking for Software Engineering Interns to join us in Pune or Bangalore. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and hands-on experience in your field, while cooperating with a broader international team locally and globally.
As part of an intern cohort, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects within Global Engineering while receiving structured learning and curriculum across various technologies. These projects may include key domain areas such as cloud platforms, enterprise Linux, containerization, Kubernetes, and AI. You will also gain hands-on experience with technologies like Python, Golang, GitHub, Java, JavaScript, and Agile methodologies.
Work closely with your mentor to design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in core enterprise products and platforms.
Collaborate with wider team members and cross-functional departments—such as Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation—throughout the product lifecycle.
Network with other talented interns in an inclusive workplace where you can be yourself and thrive.
Currently pursuing the final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
Basic knowledge of and passion for Software Engineering, with a willingness to learn and use Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
Curiosity, passion, and a strong desire to create new solutions and explore how complex systems work internally.
Willingness to learn proactively and work effectively as part of a global team.
Work Authorization: Applicants must have the legal right to work in India without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.
We are a global leader in enterprise open-source software solutions, leveraging a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies. Spread across 40+ countries, our associates work flexibly across in-office, hybrid, and remote setups depending on role requirements. We encourage all team members to bring their best ideas to the table, regardless of title or tenure, fostering an open, transparent, and collaborative engineering culture.
